Class Room (CCT)
Relationship Building Academy is rapidly becoming a center of new and exciting educational opportunities. We strive to have smaller classes to cater to busy people who need to understand cleaning princples quickly. We don't sell or promote any cleaning products in our classes. This allows us to be objective in our approach and we have more than ample time for questions that can help you to be better equiped for the unique cleaning challenges you are bound to tackle.
We are focused on the core belief that building a solid long term relationship is of the upmost importance. I make one guarantee... that you will learn more and that you will have a better understanding of cleaning when you finish any of my classes.

Chemical Test

Chemical Test for Nylon
Learning the princples of chemistry sets our students apart from others. Here, Michael demonstrates a chemical test which is important for fiber identification. All students learn this in the CCT and UFT classes without exception!
Fiber Identification

Fiber Construction
Michael takes time to teach a student (John from Canada) who is new to the cleaning business. The lesson focuses on how to do a fiber tensile test to determine if a carpet is suitable for a scrubing machine.
Weave Identification

Fiber ID
Michael is very senstive to techs (Tony Chavis ) who have taken time away from work and are required to earn IICRC certification. Many may not know the difference between a plain weave and a jacquard weave when they arrive, however Michael's teaching style makes material easy to process. Michael takes time to make sure everyone fully understands the material.
Proper Upholstery Inspection

Preinspection
Michael uses Cindy as the client to explain the felt pen writing inside one of the cushion. This approach helps students how to prequalify UPH before cleaning.
Demo Upholstery Cleaning
Several students expressed reservations about cleaning Microfiber. The demo during the UFT class gave them insights and a new found cleaning method in to overcoming those fears.
Black Light Inspection
Inspection of mattresses are as importance as upholstery. We always get extra jobs from the Best Western there is always something to clean over there. :)

TESTING TIME
After a comprehensive 14 hours of instruction over two days comes to an end. Most of the students are ready for the multiple choice questions.
In most cases many of the students have had opportunity to do some in-depth studying. Michael has a refresher before any test to help trigger your memory. This always assists in lessening test anxieties most students have about test.
